Tom Anderson – “Keats Euphoria” is an 11-song concept album inspired by the life and poems of John Keats, just released. Tom’s music is punk folk – a story-telling, driving beat, in-your-face, attitude sound. He works with a classical violinist, Yulia Price, a jazz drummer, Patrick Gaulin, a poetry-slamming bass guitarist, Ethan Mackler, and there is tension in the music, with the percussion countering melodic violin. Tali Freed adds harmonies. Tom tells the story and plays punk acoustic. A New York-based musician has called Tom “sort of a latter day Lou Reed.”
